About this house sitting position in Red Lion

Two bedroom rural house on 10 acres.
Looking for someone to look after two dogs. 3 horses. Our two Collies are in at night, out in the garden during the day. Acreage on 10 acres. Pool, lovely views, we are next to Eglington State forest, but just 200 metres from main rd. Horses to be fed hay daily and water trough topped up. We are 15 mins drive from Maryborough, 40 mins drive from Ballarat. Train station 5 mins drive. Dogs fed twice a day, and they happy to run around large garden on the property, (no walking on leads required) Hay given to horses if required and water troughs topped up. No children please, it’s not a child friendly house due to stairs. Someone with horse knowledge preferred.

“We loved our time at Red Lion, caring for the three horses and two dogs; whom we fell in love with. Tracy and Dan were lovely and we really enjoyed their home and animals and exploring the surrounding area.We really appreciated their trust in us to care for the horses, being inexperienced. Tracy’s communication was excellent; having a video call initially and then a face to face catch up once we were in the area. We didn’t have any experience caring for horses, so Tracy’s instruction and continued communication throughout the sit, was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, taking care of Tracy’s and Dan’s home and animals. We highly recommend them to other house/pet minders.”

It was great having you both house sit for us. I got a bit worried about the crazy hot days with the horses, but because you kept in touch and kept us Informed of anything, including hosing them off to cool them down, everything was ok. Dogs were happy, horses looked good, and house was spotless. Also really, really nice that you came a day before we went, and waited til we got back to have a chat. Would recommend without hesitation. Hope you’ll come back next year!
