About this house sitting position in Reedy Creek

We have a small 3 bedroom townhouse with a good sized backyard in a complex on The Gold Coast that has its own swimming pool and tennis court. It is close to buses that can get and train stations. Local shops are a 20 minute walk and offer Woolworths, chemist, bottle shop, zarrafas and sushi. Robina is where the shopping centre is and that’s about a 10 minute drive.

We have a gorgeous female Golden Retriever x Irish Setter called Summer who is 4 and her daughter called Chilli, who is around 8 months old. We also have a very sweet and playful indoor cat called Pearl who is just over a year old. The 3 animals all get along very well.

I work from home so our animals are very used to having someone around, and that is also a must for a house sitter, especially as Chilli is still a puppy and requires more attention and supervision than an older dog. She gets a bit destructive when left alone for long periods of time and the house has had some damage because of it, we are trying to avoid more damage.

We would prefer for safety sake for our dogs to stay and play here in the backyard and not head out to the dog park or on walks. They love to chase after balls, play with water from the house and have brushes.

I have a vegetable garden that, needs to maintained in terms of picking and eating (tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach) - watering is only required every few days as it’s an irrigation system set up.

The animals are used to kids and are very playful with kids. They have a wonderful time for hours playing together. There is also a trampoline for kids in the backyard.

The 2 bedrooms out of the 3 are my kids rooms and they are 7 and 9. One has a king size intro bed and the other room a double bed.

My room has a queen size bed. We have a simple house, internet and TV with Netflix, Stan and Disney. The complex also has a swimming pool for your use.

It’s a lovely neighbourhood which is quiet and would be great for someone who is travelling through that works remotely and wants to take a break for a short time in a home with loving and sweet animals. Read more...
