About this house sitting position in Rhyll

2 storey brick home. Bedrooms & bathrooms upstairs with kitchen, dining, family room and formal lounge downstairs. Our cat Lucy loves sitting on laps, and loves pats but is quite lazy. I put her on the mat out on the deck when I get up, so she can scratch the mat, whilst I get her dry food and sort the kitty litter (if needed). She has cat grass out the front, so may want a munch on that too. She is the original 'scaredy cat', so prefers to be with me when she ventures outside, although this is more in the warmer months. She is fed wet food at around 5.30 - 6pm and after we have had dinner she sits on my lap until my bed time. She sleeps on the landing near my desk, and we keep other bedroom doors closed. She is currently 15 years old, and weighs 5.5 kgs .
We believe our home is welcoming and easy to live in. We are close to the water, and as a walker I see black swans, wallabies, purple hens, and Cape Baron Geese every morning. The community here is small and caring and we are only 7kms from Cowes, Supermarkets, and speciality stores. Wonthaggi is about 40 minutes away, which has a larger shopping precinct.
Whilst we have a monthly visit from gardeners, we would require house sitters to water our garden, pots, and fertilise as written in notes we would leave. Read more...
