House & Cat Sitter Wanted – Richmond Hill, Northern Rivers NSW

At the heart of our home is Maximus, a handsome British Shorthair with a big personality and an even bigger need for company. He's used to having people around most of the day, so he'll be looking for a sitter who genuinely enjoys feline company. He loves a play session, a stroll on his lead, and being fed two to three times a day. In return, he's excellent company.

The house sits on a hill with sweeping views and is surrounded by a large, established garden that's taken years to grow into what it is -- it needs a little love every few days to stay that way. If you enjoy pottering outdoors, you'll be in your element.

Inside, the home has beautiful hardwood floors (we have a robo-vac to handle the day-to-day, with the occasional mop when needed), a beautiful spa bath and sauna which are great to use, but will also need to be cleaned.

Beyond Maximus and the garden, the role involves a few light but important tasks: collecting mail from a nearby PO Box, putting the bins out, and watering the pot plants and lawn as needed.

A word on the location: the hill is real, so a reasonable level of fitness will make life easier, though most sitters tell us the views make the climb worth it.

The house has a relaxed elegance to it, think boutique hotel rather than family home, and we're looking for a couple or person who'll appreciate and respect that. We want you to feel comfortable here, while caring for it with the same standard you'd hope someone would bring to yours. We have found that people who work from home or are retired are most suited for this assignment.
