Hi there,
We are searching for caring house sitters who love dogs !!
Cheezel is a Boxer x Sharpei ( though you wouldn't tell ) . He is an absolute gentlemen , very calm and full of manners. He is an old soul, a little deaf and going very grey around the chops as he is 12 years old. He mostly sleeps all day.
Tazzie is a black English Staffy x Blue heeler. He has no manners whatsoever and its all about him in his eyes. If you try to pat Cheezel or show him any affection, Tazzie will barge right though and position himself front and centre. He is also a senior dog only 3 months younger than Cheezel but with a lot more energy and extremely smelly breath ! Unfortunately Tazzie suffers from an itchy skin condition for which he is on medication but this is easy to administer.
Both dogs have grown up with our kids who are still primary school age so they are very tolerant and simply love people.
They don't want for much these days, only to go on a daily wander around the block or to the nearby park to sniff and determine which other dogs have been peeing on which trees and bushes. We generally let them wander off lead but attach the lead if we come across other dog walkers.
Our ideal candidate/s would be retired travellers or someone who is able to work from home as the dogs currently enjoy a lot of my company during the day so we wouldn't want them to be left alone each day for hours on end .

About our house
We are close to the city and public transport. It is an older style character home with 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms that we have been slowly renovating over the years. We would appreciate you tending to the pot plants if they require water and we have lawn but as we are only going to be away for 2 weeks this shouldn't need tending to.
If required there will be space for your vehicle in a fully secured carport . ( there is a height limit due to mezzanine however and no room for a caravan unfortunately) Read more...
