About this house sitting position in Rockingham

I am looking for a house sitter to care for my two feathered children over my ongoing 1/1 week Fifo swings. Longer term live in sitter position available, no rent expected, all expenses paid for.

The care for the boys (2x Rainbow Lorikeets indoor birds) will require uncovering the cages each morning and preparing their breakfast for the day (microwave fresh vegies and a nectar powder mix that takes about 10mins to prepare, then its all done). Then each night they are covered up for bed time. And perhaps every couple of days spending a little time with them out to stretch their wings in the evening, they love to hangout on the couch and relax.

They are extremely loving, super funny, always talkative and easy to fall in love with.

Apart from the boys breakfast and bed time, the rest of the day is all yours to either enjoy the relaxing homely lifestyle, or head out to get amongst the bustling social atmosphere of the Rockingham foreshore with gorgeous views along the beach front and an array of cafes & restaurants to choose from.

You will have your own bedroom (fully furnished with double bed and a tv) in a 3x1 home located in Rockingham, 5min walk from the train station, 3min drive to the main shopping centre and 5min to the Rockingham foreshore.

It is preferable to meet up with sitters a few days prior to the commencement date to run through the birds care and ensure you are happy with everything.

I do a full 8hr day of cleaning prior to handing the keys over every fortnight, as well as daily cleaning and upkeep throughout the weeks that I'm home. Dedicated shelf space is provided in the fridge, pantry and bathroom for sitters to settle in comfortably.

Unfortunately, due to the requirement of my boys to be safe, I am unable to facilitate children.

“Thank you Angus for this wonderful opportunity! I’ve stayed around 4 months with Steve and Nooska, I already miss them ! They are lovely birds that just need to hang out with you! They are fun, playful and always there to make the conversation. Winnie (his French bulldog) is amazing! I easily imagine him, sitting in the sofa, as if he was the boss of the place, just missing the cigar haha. Life was quite easy, peaceful, it was a great time in this little house (close to the city center, beach and activities). It was honestly the perfect spot. Angus is a great guy, flexible, always there to take care of you and your mates if you take care of his babies !! Thank you again Angus for everything, it was definitely an amazing time!
