About this house sitting position in Rosanna

Hello! We are looking for house sitters from January 6 - 16 to look after our dog and house while we’re away.

We live in Rosanna in a really convenient location with lots close by. Rosanna Station is about a 500m walk away, so it’s easy to get into the city, and there are also buses that run along the road. Woolworths and the local cafés are around 450m away, and Rosanna Parklands are about 400m away, which is also a great spot to take Millie (our dog) for a walk.

The house has three bedrooms, the main bedroom, a second bedroom with a single bed and a third bedroom which we use as a home office. The office gets lots of natural light and looks out over the spa, so it’s a great spot if you need to work from home. There’s also a large kitchen and lounge room, two bathrooms, a laundry with a washer and dryer and a single garage.

Our dog Millie is a 5 year old Mini Groodle and a little cuddle bug. She loves being around people and will happily follow you around the house and be your little shadow. She loves going for walks, sleeping in the sun and curling up next to you on the couch.

Millie does have separation anxiety and takes oral medication, so we need someone who is comfortable giving this to her. We’ll leave plenty of medication and clear instructions on how and when to give it.

Because of her separation anxiety, we’d ideally like someone who is home a fair bit. You definitely don’t need to be home 24/7 and can still go out and do your own thing, but someone who is away for long days five days a week probably wouldn’t be the best fit for her. Someone who works from home, is retired or has a fairly flexible schedule would be ideal.

Other than that, Millie is a very sweet and easy dog to have around and mostly just loves having someone nearby to keep her company and give her plenty of cuddles! Read more...
