About this house sitting position in Rothwell

Hi Housesitters
We are looking for some very special people or person, who are possibly available in October and December, 11th to 21st Jan.

We have holidays booked, but being retired, sometimes we just want to take off if the opportunity arises.

Our home is a single storey home, north of Brisbane, in the beautiful Morton bay area.
There are shops, and transport in walking distance . Walk ways along the bay, are just 5 mins walk from our front door.
Redcliffe and Scarborough beaches are around a 15min easy drive.
Northlakes, which has Westfield and Ikea, are 10 mins by car also.
The bus stop is a 2 min walk. The buses go to Redcliffe , Caboolture or the train station. Local Train station is Rothwell .

We have 2dogs. Millie, our 13 yr old cross whippet/sharpea. She loves walks, but is also content at home and sleeping. She will be happy with anything. She is not much of a snuggler, but loves to be patted and is happy to just curl up on up the couch in the evening.
She is very deaf now but can smell cheese or ham as soon as it comes out of the fridge.
Max is our13yr old Staffy. He is a big softy . He is also very intelligent and knows exactly what you are saying. He has to be the centre of attention and will push in for pats when Millie is getting her pats or cuddles. He will walk but doesn't need to as he is not as well as he used to be.

They get fed dry food in the morning and a wet meal in the evening, with more bickies. And of course they love their treats!
They let you know when dinner time is near, usually about an hour before dinner, they start to get excited!

We also have a 22yr old galah named Beau. He loves a tickle under the chin and to come out occasionally. But the dogs have to be in another area as he is very skittish with them and they may hurt him. Therefore they are locked outside if he has out time.
The dogs just like to sleep in the evening and when bed is mentioned they go off to the bedroom at night on her own bed.
Max too has his own bed but he will get in Millies at times and has to be asked to move.They can sneak on the bed when you are asleep , so if this is not for you then keep the door closed!

We have a pool but it is easy care.
