About this house sitting position in Rye

We have two beautiful Lagottos, Luca (3) and Lorenzo (2) who need to be cared for approximately 5 weeks. They are good boys and providing they have a good morning and evening walk, they are settled and well behaved. They are used to having people around during the day as my husband and I work from home. As such, we require sitters that are either retired or who work from home.

They also love to play fetch! They may take a little while getting used to new strangers, but they are beautiful and very friendly dogs.

We have a beautiful mid-century home in Rye that has a large garden and a beautiful, sunny front balcony. The block is elevated and there are a few steps to walk up to the front door (which is actually at the back of the house). Please note that the house is not accessible by wheel chair and does require you to walk up steps to access the house. It's a 150m walk to a beautiful spot on the Tyrone foreshore here in Rye. It's also only a 1.6km walk to Blairgowrie Village and a 3km walk to Rye.

“It was a real please meeting Jo and Peter and caring for their lovely dogs, Luca and Enzo, on the Monington Peninsula. They're very warm, friendly and thoughtful people, and communication throughout the whole stay was easy and pleasant. They left us excellent instructions for both the dogs and the house, which made everything very comfortable and stress-free. Their home is cosy, welcoming and in a beautiful location, just across the road is the beach, where we enjoyed walking with Luca and Enzo every morning. They loved chasing balls, collecting sticks, splashing in the water and running happily along the shoreline. We are very grateful for Jo and Peter's trust and hospitality, so everything went smoothly from beginning to end. We would highly recommend this house sit to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful area with caring hosts and delightful dogs. ”
