Our property sits high above and overlooks the beautiful Hawkesbury River The accommodation is a brand new, compact, modern self contained one bedroom (double bed) basement studio with river views totally seperate from the house. Appliances include fridge, airfryer, convection microwave, hotplates, toaster and jug, air-conditioning and washing machine. There is no oven. The area is semi rural and quiet only 15klms from a major historic town of Windsor. There is no public transport here so your own transport is required. The train to Sydney leaves from Windsor and takes around 1.5 hours. The metro station is half hour away at Rouse Hill and takes around an hour to get to the city. We have 2 cattle dogs, one old and one young who will need feeding and walking. Our old dog is on medication every 2nd day for his arthritis. We have 3.5acres of river flat directly across the road for use by the sitters to exercise the dogs. Telstra phone service (or ALDI) is the only reliable mobile coverage and is required for calls and streaming services with your own hotspot. The house is seperate to the studio and has extensive deck areas and a fire pit available to the sitter along with a heated pool. We can also provide kayaks, golf clubs and fishing rods for use by the sitters if required. This house minding would suit a single person or a couple who enjoy nature and the outdoors. There are a dozen steps to get to the studio. Parking is available on the driveway for a car but there is no room for a caravan or motorhome except for on the street in front. The Hawkesbury area is centrally positioned for day trips to Sydney, the central coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong coast. Our property is very low maintenance and our gardens are on an automated watering system. There are just a few random pot plants out near the fire pit that will require watering as necessary.
