About this house sitting position in Sarina

3 bedroom High-set Queenslander with all the mod cons. Full aircon + fans throughout, modern bathroom etc. Large suburban block, garage under house + side access to fully lockable single bay shed w/ awning out back. External security cameras front & back for peace of mind. Shops within walking distance, but less than 5 mins drive regardless. Sarina is a lovely little regional town, about 30 mins drive south of Mackay. People are actually friendly here, and will happily say G'day!

We are looking for someone to feel completely at home here while we go on holidays, but there's 1 small (27kg) catch... Our boy Odie is a red-nose Pittie & is considered family. We don't have human children, so he is our crown Prince! He is spoilt absolutely rotten, & has full run of the place, inside & out. On that note, your own room will definitely still be your sanctuary, & you are free to choose whether or not you wish to allow him in!

Odie is just the sweetest, loyal & most lovable guy possible. He steals hearts everywhere he goes, & just adores people! Purely because of his breed & the unfortunate stigma, we tend to keep our distance from other dogs, but nonetheless he accompanies us almost everywhere we go! He loves his walks, car rides & any adventure possible, & will happily go somewhere every single day. However, he can also be rather partial to what we call "sloth" mode... If it's raining, or he's feeling lazy, he'll gladly spend a whole day with you lazing on the couch, watching movies etc, & will do his absolute best in "assisting" you with your chips or snacks...

Odie eats once a day, usually at 6pm. His only other requirement is to take his heart medication morning & night. They are simple chewable tablets, that he happily eats without fuss. He must have them either an hour before food, or 2 hours after. He has top level Pet Insurance also, & there is a kennel near Mackay that can look after him in case of emergency. I should add, that a previous sitter brought their own dog here too, & all went smoothly.
