About this house sitting position in Scone (Middlebrook)

Come and explore Scone, in the Upper Hunter Valley, and the Horse Capital of Australia, which offers lots to see and do locally.

We are seeking experienced sitters (couples preferred) to care for our home and 5 dogs (4 retired & 1 current show dog) who are all beautifully behaved and very well trained.

We also have 6 sheep, who look after themselves, apart from topping up their water each week.

Experience with caring for a small rural 'lifestyle' property is an advantage.

We have a large house on 5 acres. Our property offers you a quiet and peaceful, rural setting with views of the mountains and horse studs.

Sitters are welcome to stay in the house and/or stay in their caravan/motorhome, parked in a safe and secure area on the property, close to the house and dogs.

Duties would include daily care and feeding of our dogs, mowing and watering gardens as needed.

Our dogs, are in well-established routines, giving you the freedom to explore the area during the days. NO NEED to walk or provide additional exercise beyond the backyard. No experience with or additional grooming of the dogs is required.

We are located within easy access by car to the Hunter Valley, Pokolbin & local wineries, the beautiful Barrington Tops, Tamworth and Newcastle. Lots to see and explore locally.

*Note: We are approx. 5 km from town with no public transport, so own transport is essential.
