About this house sitting position in Seaford

Hello!

We are looking for house-sitters to look after our two 18-month-old labs, Rafa (black) and Margo (golden) while we are away June-July.

We are looking for someone who has had experience with dogs and is okay with 2 excitable labs who are still learning all the tricks of the trade. They are both gorgeous pups who have a lot of love to give. They love walks and swimming, and following along on bike rides. They are house trained but can sometimes get curious about the things on the bench so best not leave things out unless you're willing to share! Margo is very affectionate, and loves to be close while Rafa is happy to be involved, but he's also happy to chill out on his own too. They are walked and fed twice a day and sleep in their crates/laundry at night.

We would be looking for someone who is willing to walk them twice a day and give keep them company at least in the evenings. They are used to everyone being at work/school during the days but are generally satisfied with a morning walk and bone each to get them through the day until everyone gets home and they head on their evening walk.

The 2 of them together are enough of a party so we think this housesit would be best for those without their own pets.

Our preference would most likely be for a couple to stay, however happy to chat to families and see if we would be a suitable match.

The house is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach (the best beach on the bay in fact!), train station and strip of shops/restaurants/cafe. The supermarket is less than a 5 minute drive, as well as the wetlands where the dogs love to run is a 5-10 minute bike ride away. There is a huge dog park at the end of the street too. Frankston city is a 10 min drive/train where there is the big shopping centre, cinemas and more pubs/restaurants.

You would be living in a 4 bed + study with all living and main bedroom and ensuite downstairs, as well as ground level powder room. There is a pool in the backyard, but unlikely to require maintenance during your stay. There is parking space in the driveway/carport for a car and possibly a caravan, however we often park on the street to provide more space for the dogs as well as to save the hassle of opening the (manual) gates for the car. You would be welcome to borrow the bikes if that is of interest to you.
