A great opportunity awaits you to stay in the Snowy Mountains and experience a tranquil conservation property and wildlife refuge. We live on a 144 acre property that is a registered wildlife sanctuary. We have 250 metres of river frontage on the Murrumbidgee River which is great for swimming and watching platypus. We raise orphaned Eastern Grey Kangaroos and continually plant seedlings to revegetate old grazing land.

We live off grid using solar energy and tank water from rain and the Murrumbidgee River. The house sitter accommodation is a self-contained bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Both the kitchen and upstairs bedroom are air-conditioned. The seperate laundry is available for use.

We have 300 new trees and shrubs that need to be watered once or twice during your stay. The small house garden will need watering once a week. The roos that have been raised come for food and water which need to be replenished daily.

Knowledge of using generators and pumps is required, some knowledge of solar is also a bonus. Ability to ride a quad with water tanks and water trailer required.
