About this house sitting position in SHERWOOD

We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and caring sitter with a genuine love for dogs to care for our two French Bulldogs, Charlie (female) and Sanchez (male). The position will start with a short trial stay in February, with the potential for longer stays from as early as mid-to-late March. A meet-and-greet before the stay is essential to ensure compatibility.

About Charlie and Sanchez
Both are three-year-old French Bulldogs, fully vaccinated, crate-trained (though we rarely use it), and toilet trained.
They are friendly, affectionate, and love being close to people. We are looking for someone who can reciprocate their loving energy.
Low maintenance: They enjoy a 20–30-minute walk daily or a few short play sessions in the backyard (weather permitting). Note: Being Frenchies, they are sensitive to heat, so outdoor activities need to be undertaken early or late in day and should be kept short on warmer days.
They prefer not to be left alone for long periods, so we’re looking for someone who can spend most of their time at home with them.

Our Home and Location
We live in a family-friendly and safe neighborhood, and our home is a comfortable double-storey house featuring:
A small backyard and a pool (pool is fully serviced).
A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a laundry with a washer and dryer.
Fans and air-conditioning throughout the house.
Unlimited NBN with access to various streaming platforms.
A dedicated office space with dual monitors for work-from-home needs (BYO laptop).
Off-street parking in the driveway.
During longer stays, we’d appreciate some light care for our pot plants and small herb garden (watering as needed). The rest of the garden is on an automatic timer.

Local cafes and restaurants withing walking distance.
A shopping precinct with a supermarket is a 3-minute drive away.
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is a 7 minutes drive.
Sherwood Station is a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive, with direct train services to the city.

Requirements
Must be a non-smoker.
Preferably someone who enjoys spending time at home and can provide companionship for our dogs.
