About this house sitting position in Shoalhaven Heads

I am looking for a sitter at very short notice as my arranged person had a family bereavement and so is unable to assist.
I need someone to look after my friendly English Pointer, Oscar, and my 3 pet chooks.

Although Oscar is a senior, he is in very good condition and enjoys his daily on lead walks sniffing and exploring the town. He is a gentle boy who isn’t demanding but follows me wherever I go in the house and yard. He is used to me being away for a few hours but hasn't been left for long periods. Oscar loves attention and pats. His meals are all in the freezer and he eagerly eats his 2 joint support capsules in slices of Brie. He spends mot o his time relaxing on one of his several beds.

Rita, Lana and Sophia, the chooks mostly look after themselves. Their run has an automatic, solar powered door so they do not need to be let out and shut in their run. They roam around the large back yard all day, occasionally coming into a covered outdoor room to eat from their feeders. They are used to a treat plate each day but would survive without it for a week. The main job needed is to lean the perches each day and top up water drinkers. everything is of course supplied.

I am offering a spacious, 4 bedroom, 1970s double brick split level home featuring lounge and dining rooms with cathedral ceilings, a large timber panelled bathroom with spa bath and shower, main bedroom with ensuite and a conveniently located powder room. Access is via a double driveway wide enough to accommodate a caravan. The double garage has automatic doors and has convenient internal access. Sitters are welcome to use the garage and the set of keys includes a garage door opener.

All windows and doors are double glazed and most rooms have a ceiling fan. An electric heater is centrally located in the dining room as well as 3 Dyson hot/cold fan heaters that can be moved wherever needed. There is reliable WiFi and 4 smart TVs with Netflix, Prime, Paramount Plus and Acorn streaming services available.

The yard has been planted predominantly with native shrubs and trees and resembles a bit of bushland so does not require attention. Chairs, benches and tables are available to relax and enjoy the shade especially on an hot day. There are several pot plants that would appreciate a little water occasionally.

I hope to find someone who would enjoy spending time with Oscar and my girls. I provide dedicated guest bedding and towels, shampoo, body wash and body lotion and the kitchen is well-equipped.
