About this house sitting position in Somerset
Rustic 2BR home on 4 acres 7kms from Somerset and the beach. We have an elderly, affectionate cat Tiddles, that needs feeding morning and night and kitty litter changed, leaving the days free for you to explore the surrounding areas eg Cradle Mountain, Stanley, Corinna etc. Note: Previous reviews mention a horse Echo but he has sadly passed away, so only a cat to look after now. He is affectionate so you must like cats!

“It was a pleasure sitting for Mandy! She had excellent communication in the lead up and during the stay. Tiddles is such a cute and affectionate cat and was happy to lap sit after a few days, and always loved scritches and pets. Mandy and Wayne's place is very comfortable, lots of light and warmth, and their location is excellent for exploring the Northwest. Absolutely fantastic time we had.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Mandy and Wayne’s and of course looking after Tiddles the cat. The house with beautiful country views had a really nice vibe and was very comfortable. Tiddles was a joy and easy to look after, loved a head scratch and a sit on your lap. Mandy left detailed instructions and we would definitely be interested in housesitting again. ”

“Sitting for Tiddles the cat was very enjoyable. He is a relaxed cat with a calm personality. He doesn't meow much, just a quick good morning or at feed time. He would settle on my lap whenever I was on the lounge, which I welcomed. The house is easy living, single level with ensuite to Sitter's bedroom. Watering systems in place made for straight forward watering. Quiet neighbours and the owner of the sheep in back paddock visited to check on them. Property located in a rural setting and a short drive to either Wynyard or Burnie. ”
