About this house sitting position in South Launceston

Hello! If you're looking for a little nature retreat that is still close to the city, then our home may be perfect for you.

Have your morning coffee in the garden with the pademelons and go for a walk along the trails to see the duck pond and little waterfall. Plenty of wildlife around but the only animal you would need to look after is our cat Meowmeow. He is an 8-year old DSH/Blue Russian who sleeps most of the day until he gets a burst of zoomies. He is indoor only and just requires food, water, litter, and attention/cuddles when wanted (no medication or walks).

We are a 10-minute drive from Launceston city, short walk to the IGA and cafe, and a 20-minute walk to the local shopping village. There is also a golf-course nearby, as well as bowling and an escape room, and Launceston city has plenty of entertainment to explore and is also a good base for weekend adventures to waterfalls or hikes.

Our house has a guest room, large kitchen, home gym and NBN internet.

We are looking for someone to fill a 6-week sit; perfect for people who work from home or are interested in exploring Launceston.
