About this house sitting position in South Mackay

URGENT : Two story house with a large fully fenced backyard and plenty of room for parking. Main requirement is care for my dog, Vander(3.5yr), and kitten, Soma(10mnths). Duties include feeding, playtime, walks, litter care, and general companionship.

The house itself is fairly low maintenance, no yard maintenance required as that is already taken care of. Just looking for someone to keep the home generally clean and tidy from daily living and pet mess. Not after perfection, just someone respectful and caring.

Soma (kitten) is very affectionate, loves cuddles and being picked up. He enjoys going outside but generally stays under the house hunting bugs and always comes back when called.

Vander is a big softy who loves walks around the block, the harbour, or trips to the dog park in Andergrove (his favourite because he gets social time with dogs he knows). He also enjoys playing fetch in the backyard, although he eventually gives up and drops the ball 🤣 He’s excitable around dogs and kids because he wants to play, but he’s very harmless and generally obedient when he feels like cooperating. He sleeps inside at night.

The back screened door is usually left open with the wooden door shut, as both pets use the dog door to come and go during the day ONLY.

There is a queen bed available, a single sun bed for sleeping, and the couch also pulls out into a large bed if needed. Located only 5 minutes from the city centre, shops, and beach, with most other places within 10–15 minutes. All pet meals will be prepped beforehand with clear instructions provided. Read more...
