About this house sitting position in South West Rocks Acreage

We live at Summer Island (not actually an island), a beautiful rural property by the river, surrounded by farmland. We’re just 5 minutes from the lovely village of Gladstone, and only 15 minutes to the beaches of South West Rocks and Hat Head National Park.

Our home is a renovated two-storey brick house set on 33 acres, with pool and air conditioning.

Our dates are flexible, if you have a motorhome or caravan you would be welcome to extend the stay as we have plenty of room.

We have a number of much-loved animals:

- Three dogs: Willow (15-year-old beagle), Lily (14-year-old fluffy mix), and Harry (4-year-old chocolate labradoodle)
- Jack, our friendly outdoor cat who enjoys the occasional cuddle
- Four chickens who need to be fed and let out daily — they’ll reward you with fresh eggs
- Two goats who require no care, just the occasional pat or bit of bread
- steers in the paddocks, which do not require any attention

We’re looking for a reliable house sitter who enjoys animals. The main responsibilities are:

- Walking the dogs and letting them run in the paddock each day
- Feeding the chickens and collecting eggs
- Keeping an eye on the pool

Please note, we’re unable to accommodate house sitters with pets or small children.
