About this house sitting position in South Yunderup

We live in a 4x2 house in South Yunderup which is between Mandurah and Pinjarra. There is an IGA here as well as a pub, bottle shop, chemist, hairdresser etc. There is a lake and the murray river not far. It is about 15min into Mandurah (ca 15km) and ca 15min into Pinjarra. Pinjarra has a Coles and shops.

There is a bus from Mandurah to South Yunderup approx 4 times per day but you are better off with a car for mobility.

In our house you have access to your own bedroom plus bathroom, the laundry, kitchen and the lounge room with a TV as well as the theatre room with a TV. You are also welcome to use the BBQ in the alfresco area. There is also free Starlink internet you are welcome to use.
The kitchen also has a dishwasher for use.

Requirements:
We will be away overseas between 11th November 2026 and 13th January 2027 so we need a home and petsitter for these 9 weeks.

The house does not need any maintenance done during that time other than regularly watering the plants in the front and back yard and just a vaccum and mop every now and then so basically please look after it like your own home.

We have 1 dog, she is a 4 year old American Pitbull Border Collie cross called Rachel (Rachy) and the biggest couch potato. She is very sweet and loving. She does not bark, she does not need any medications. She would need to be taken for a walk once or twice a day as she loves her walk or taken to the oval or beach for a run (she loves fetching her ball). She loves humans and she loves other dogs (your 10min walk will definitely take longer :)) because she feels she wants to say hi to every dog she sees. She can absolutely be bribed with treats.
She is a little unsure about very little humans and also afraid of very loud noises so ideally we are looking for older sitters or sitters without kids (we think potentially due to bad experience in her first home before we adopted her).
She gets fed twice a day.
Otherwise we don't need anything done as we only wish for someone who looks after our house and spoils our furbaby. Therefore you will have heaps of free time. Read more...
