Spearwood, Western Australia

About this house sitting position in Spearwood

Dates: 5 December – 26 December

Location: Near Phoenix Shopping Centre & Coogee Beach

Looking for: A quiet single person or an older couple

Are you looking for a peaceful, low-maintenance getaway leading up to Christmas? We are looking for a reliable, quiet house and pet sitter (ideally a single person or an older couple) to look after our small, minimal duplex and two independent indoor cats while we are away. We would love to meet you in person before we leave to hand over keys, show you around, and ensure it’s a perfect fit for everyone.

The Space & Comforts:
Our home is set up minimally and designed for comfort. While the extra bedrooms are closed off, you will have full use of the main bedroom, which features a massive wall-mounted Smart TV loaded with unlimited movies/TV on all streaming platforms (plus free-to-air). We don't use a traditional dining table, as we prefer to eat while relaxing in front of the screen!

To keep you perfectly comfortable, the home includes:
* ❄️ Powerful air conditioning
* ⚡ Fast, unlimited Wi-Fi
* 🚗 Excellent location: A 2-minute drive to Phoenix Shopping Centre and just 5 minutes to the beautiful Coogee Beach.
The Cat & House Duties:
You will be looking after two strictly indoor cats. They are very low-maintenance but quite shy and prefer a calm environment.
* The Black Cat: Will most likely ignore you the entire time!
* The Grey Cat: Independent, but will warm up to you once he realizes you are the one feeding him.
* Neither cat likes to be picked up or held, making them perfect for someone who enjoys the company of pets without the demand for constant attention.
* Litter Duty: Very straightforward. Just a quick scoop and flush in the morning, with a full tray change every 5 to 7 days.

Because our cats are happiest in a serene environment, we are specifically looking for sitters who keep a quiet, peaceful household. If this sounds like the perfect December retreat for you, please send us a message telling us a bit about yourself! Read more...
