About this house sitting position in Springdale Heights

We live in a modern house in a lovely quite area with plenty of dog friendly walks and hikes close by. We are lucky to live near the beautiful Murray River, Hume Lake, rail rails, snow field views in winter and nature reserves. It is a hikers and outdoor enthusiasts dream here and we can give you all the lovely dog friendly walks in the area.

Quiet suburb you will need a car that you can park in our garage.

We have a rescue dog Digger that is a staffy cross. Digger ideally prefers the ladies (as he can be afraid of males) who can work or study from home we have a full home office for you. Or a retired person who is looking for a nice garden, house and local walks to do everyday with Digger.

You will need to be rather fit as digger enjoys an on lead walk around 4Km each day (we can show you all the lovely local walks you can enjoy together). He does pull on the lead unfortunately so you will need to be able to handle that.

We are mainly looking for someone who wants to chill out with Digger everyday watching netflix and cuddling, hanging out in the garden and having small adventures daily together on the surrounding walks and hikes. Digger is good with other dogs out and about but we prefer he has his house to himself with no other pets at the house.

You will be sharing all furniture and your bed with Digger he does not understand personal space.

If everything works out this will not be a one off. We are regularly looking for someone to stay with Digger from short stays to month holidays. Our house sitter is moving overseas and we are looking for a new wonderful person to help with Digger.

We have indoor plants that will need watering and an outdoor veggie path that only needs water in Summer otherwise the back yard is low maintenance and we don't expect to much from you there.
