About this house sitting position in Strangways

Seeking a house and chicken minder. The house is a small Californian Bungalow on 40 acres of bush with Trust for Nature covenant.

We want our three hens and rooster to be cared for. They are fed twice daily and need to be let out and put in night pens. We would love someone interested in being around as the rooster Henry loves company. We would like someone who relates to chickens as pets.

The house and land looks after itself, no gardening and minimal watering required. The land is full of native animals and birds and is Ideal for nature lover or bird watcher.

House only has one bedroom with double bed suitable for solo or couple, not suitable for children or pets.

Closest town is 5km away, Newstead, Bendigo 60km, Ballarat 70km , 25km to Castlemaine and 30km to Daylesford.

Offgrid, gas cooking, solar hot water with backup gas heating. Wood fire with back up gas heater. Solar power with backup generator and rainwater tanks. All systems work well with minimal effort.

Room for a small caravan (up to 16ft) under car port if required another car port available for car.
