'Pepperview' is a lovely, tranquil 60 acre rural property. Our home sits on an elevated position overlooking the charming Mill Creek Valley just 12 minutes from Stroud Village, 45 minutes from Gloucester, around an hour to Maitland and 1.5 hours to Newcastle.
The house is just a few years old, with a spacious open living area comprising kitchen, dining-room and lounge (a beautiful new sofa is due to be delivered late March). It is very well insulated, with reverse-cycle ducted air conditioning throughout, as well as an excellent slow combustion fire (ample firewood will be supplied) and ceiling fans. There are lovely views of the property from both sides of the living area, which leads out onto a timber deck and a fully fenced (with snake-proof mesh), garden for humans and pets!
The kitchen has a large pantry, oven/gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a fully equipped laundry with a front loading washing machine and a dehumidifying dryer.
The bedroom is airy and large, with a super king-sized bed, ample cupboard storage and an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower.
Another queen size bedroom is an exercise space with light weight dumbells and a tv, and is perfect for yoga.
Stroud village is very close, with three cafes, a grocery store/bottle shop, pharmacy, GP, auto-mechanic, post office and pub. In addition, Stroud Country Club has an excellent restaurant with views over the golf course.
