About this house sitting position in Sun Valley

We live on a 1 acre hobby farm and keep 2 young and healthy border collies (Archie and Ollie) they live outside and only come in for short times for a pat or cuddle, they don't have special needs or medicines but we do have GPS trackers on them as they manage to escape the yard a few times a year (hopefully this is resolved now since we de-sexed the ringleader :-). There is a large off leash dog park near us that we drive them to a few days a week for a big run while they chase the ball (and each other). There is also a lovely local bushwalk that you can take them on.

We have 20 chickens that give lots of eggs and will gladly eat kitchen scraps and have an automatic feeder that needs filling once a week, a large edible garden which you are welcome to eat from, 5 very friendly goats who love cuddles and company (which are not in milk at the moment so you don't need to milk them, just feed and love them) and a large permaculture pond which contains edible goodies.

The home is a newly built permaculture inspired home, single story with a large open kitchen and floor plan, lot's of house plants (that need watering :-) and lots of natural light and bushy outlook to the Blue Mountains.

There is also a tiny home situated on the property which we use as a guest room and a quiet space to work from home.

There is a 2 car carport and space for a caravan but access could be difficult as the access way is not level and sloped. A caravan could be stored on the property but might not be level to stay in.

The home is in the lower Blue Mountains about 1 hr drive from Sydney and is lovely and warm in the cooler months with the fire on (plenty of wood here to use) and stays cool in the summer but we do have air conditioning.

Wifi available (fibre to the house so there is great reception) and and allocated office/recording studio that you can work from if working from home. Read more...
