About this house sitting position in Sutherland

We live in a two bedroom flat on the second floor, please note there is no lift access, with big balcony (for humans and visiting birds only).

Main bedroom has double bed and plenty of storage space to hang clothes etc. Second bedroom is an office if you'd like to work from home with WIFI.

Bathroom has separate shower and a bath.

I cook quite a bit, so kitchen has everything you might need, including a coffee pod machine.

I have a double garage so you're welcome to park your car behind mine, you're also welcome to use my car, however I'll warn you that's not much of an offer! It's an old manual banger, but gets me to the shops and back.

Ships, train station and buses are all within 10-15 minute walk. Every Saturday is Shire Farmer's Market and the royal national park is on the doorstep. If you like nature this is a stunning place to visit, plus the cutest ball of fluff to come home to!

Java is a sweet and playful, 6 yo cat. Big majestic tail and character to match. He loves to play and will hustle for attention and biscuits, and will reward you with warm cuddles and rolling purrs.

Java (aka Jaja, fluffy butt, bubbles, Prince floof) can be shy when first meeting, but once a little trust is earned, he'll soon be chit chatting away to you, telling you what he needs next and "can you please drape that big blanket over the chair for me to bury under?".

Java's food will all be provided, nothing complicated, but may need half a tablet in his food if he's feeling anxious.

Java is a rescue and despite living like a king since 6 weeks old, he does still fright easily. Loud noises, doorbell ringing and plastic bags still have him running to hide under the bed.
A single, female sitter who understands cats and their weird but wonderful ways would suit Java best. Read more...
