Brock, Salong and Wolfie the staghound live in Tarrengower, about an 8 minute drive outside the historic town of Maldon, Victoria. Our 1 hectare property is nestled between farming and bush pastures, with no visible neighbours and is under the constant gaze of Mt Tarrengower. We have established and new gardens so some time spent watering every few days would be great and we have three chickens that would need feeding, watering and daily egg collection. Our five year old dog is fine at home indoors for 5-6 hours at a time, so would require someone ideally that can work from home and not have to leave him for longer periods. We are fully fenced and he can roam the yard when accompanied, but he is not left outside. He loves to play ball a few times a day, only lasts for a few minutes, then happy sleeping most of the day. We have excellent internet and wifi, with a designated office as Salong works from home, two outdoor bbq's, firepit, bathtub, air-con, ceiling fans throughout and usually fresh eggs from the girls most days! Castlemaine is a 25 minute drive and Maldon has a small IGA, four cafes, pub, oldest running bakery in Australia and the usual tourist shop offerings. Bendigo is about 40 Minutes drive with all the big name retailers. We usually have edible greens in the small vegie garden too. Look forward to talking soon. Read more...
