About this house sitting position in Tatham

Our home is an old post office that is approximately 140 years old in a rural setting on an acre block. The house is a small comfortable cottage with lots of charm and character with two bedrooms in the main house. There is also a lower level that has a queen bed and living space. We have a slow combustion stove in main house and an open fire place. The garden has vegetable beds and fruit trees with some open grassed areas that will need to be maintained (ride-on mower available). Our home is adjacent to a creek that feeds into the Richmond river. Tatham is a small village between Coraki and Casino in northern NSW. Sitter will need to be handy as there are often little odd jobs associated with an older home.
We are on tank water that is pumped into the house. The garden is watered via pump drawing water from the creek. Pumps have been serviced and are unlikely to need any attention.
There will be the necessary equipment available such as general tools, ride on mower, whipper snipper and hedge trimmer. Wifi available. We are looking for a non smoking house sitter that leads a quiet lifestyle. One covered car space will be available in our carport. Read more...
