About this house sitting position in TATONG

Hello! 😃

Our home is an Off-grid Tiny House located in a paddock sometimes with friendly cattle and sheep owned by our landlord - which you won't need to look after ;).

We are about 14km south of the main town (the Tatong Tavern)

We are rainwater tank and solar-powered so we are very conscious of our water & power usage. Our home has a waterless toilet aka composting loo (we transitioned to being responsible of our own sh*t... literally 😆)

We are 30 minutes away from Benalla / 32 minutes away (thru the back [dirt] road) from Mansfield living in a serene, quiet rural setting with our 2 cats: Lady Catterly ( 14 yrs old black cat) & a younger one called Shade (gray cat). Both cats have adopted us 😊

We have some potted plants that needs watering from time to time.

We would be keen to have someone who lives a minimalist lifestyle and wanting to explore the life of being off-grid in the countryside or are wanting to try living in a tiny house before committing to living in one, who also has some knowledge on how to run a generator in case of power outage.

We prefer to have a couple as we live quite remotely and unless you are in the tiny house, there’s no reception around (we have Starlink for our internet), so it’s good to have someone to talk to.

Otherwise, we’d be happy to have an individual who is confident, independent, has no fear facing the off-grid challenges that may come up. Read more...
