About this house sitting position in Tatton (Wagga Wagga)

We have a friendly 11yo Jack Russell who is still bouncy/active for his age although requires some daily medications (details further below). He lives inside and is very used to being an ‘only dog’ and having people around most of the time but can be left on his own inside for occasional short periods of time e.g. 3-4 hours.
We have a comfortable 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home with good internet connection. One bedroom is currently used as a home office and there is another desk in the area adjacent to the kitchen. We are located only a few minutes drive from the closest suburban shopping centre and a 10-15 minute drive from central Wagga Wagga shops.
Wagga Wagga is the second largest inland regional city in NSW and has lots of amenities on offer including a very wide range of shops, great cafes, an excellent art gallery and a range of other interesting things to see/do in and around the local area.
We have a pool that should only require light maintenance while we are away (e.g. skimming for leaves, putting in the robot cleaner every day or two, topping up with water if needed) as the filter/pump system is automated and we have an automated watering system for our lawn/garden so garden maintenance should be minimal.
Our requested start date includes arriving the day before we head off so we can host our house sitter(s) that night/introduce them as friend(s) to our dog and so we can go through his routine in person and show things like the pool and the cooling/heating system in the house etc. should that be needed while we are away.
Our dog has skin allergies, mostly well-controlled by daily tablets (hidden in food) and a lotion applied to his paws twice a week. He also requires eye drops every 1-2 days so we would need someone who is comfortable/experienced with giving medication/applying eye drops. In addition, he is on a urinary care diet (Hills prescription wet and dry food) and we keep an eye out to make sure he is urinating properly etc. Read more...
