About this house sitting position in The Gap

Hello,

We are heading off 28 December, returning 10th January, and seek a house sitter to look after our 3 bedroom house in The Gap, Brisbane, to take care of our dog Storm (and water the plants).

Storm is wolfhound / kelpie cross, 9 years old, who really needs someone to be around to feed him, so he doesn't feel like he's been abandoned. Plus, to be taken on a walk every day or so (So you need to be comfortably walking a bigger dog). He is super friendly with people, and kids. But he can have problems with other dogs, so we avoid dog parks. We are in a quiet street in The Gap, five minutes walk to a grocery store and bus stops. Five minute drive the local supermarket. 15 mins drive off peak to the CBD. Enoggera dam is also 5 mins, good for a picnic or paddle (welcome to use our paddle board or kayak). Close to many bike and walking paths. You have full use of the house, air conditioning, main bedroom with ensuite, bbq, with fast internet and various streaming services available. Quality hi fi home stereo system for movie nights! We have had house sitters' book in and then bail at late notice. Please only reach out if you are able to commit to taking the place. We are flexible on dates - if you need to arrive after the 28th, or leave before the 10th, we can arrange others to look after Storm for a few days.
