About this house sitting position in Theodore
We live on a cattle property on a bitumen road 15 minutes from the friendly town of Theodore in Central Queensland.
We come and go a fair bit, so frequently have a requirement for a sitter. Ideally we are looking for someone with a caravan or motor home. There is a dedicated space for either, with an adjacent private toilet and shower block with a washing machine, and an furnished air-conditioned donga for your use if you wish to spread out. There is a lovely view overlooking distant hills and mountains.
We have a lawn and garden that need to be cared for with pop up lawn sprinklers that need to be turned on and off as required. We also have a large zero turn lawn mower which makes mowing easy. The rest of the garden is fairly low maintenance and just requires water.
Our two friendly border collie dogs need feeding and locking up at night when we are away.
There is no requirement to do property work with the cattle, however if it interests you, you would be most welcome to participate.
