About this house sitting position in Thornleigh

Our home is set overlooking beautiful peaceful bushland in Thornleigh, near Hornsby in Sydney's north. We have a large level backyard and we are close to many local bushwalking tracks, while also still close to Hornsby shopping centre, with a regular bus service. We have a renovated kitchen and bathrooms, large family areas and decks with views front and back. We are looking for someone to look after our dog Basil - including a decent daily walk, keep an eye on the house and garden and tend 2 low-maintenance chooks (who will supply you with fresh eggs!) Basil is a 5 year old Weimarana x Lab with a great personality who loves a cuddle just as much as he loves a walk. He's a big boy and while very well trained, he is strong, so would be best suited to someone who is comfortable with big dogs. He does require daily medication which he takes very happily - so you will need to be OK with popping some pills on a large tongue! Ideally we are looking for a couple, so that someone is based at home most of the time, rather than being out at work all day, and our home has great internet and multiple options for working from home if that is what you need. Basil is happiest when he has people around him and we find that having a couple to housesit works best for us and Basil, and hopefully for you too!
