Hello, my name is Louise and I'm lucky enough to live on the gorgeous Atherton Tablelands (1hr 20mins from Cairns). This is a stunning part of the world and there is so much to see and do up here. Hiking, waterfalls, ancient rainforests ( with tree kangaroos and cassowaries, platypus) ,crater lakes, markets, not to mention the great barrier reef on your doorstep! I'm hoping to go away for a few weeks at the end of July/early August and am hoping to find someone willing to look after my 2 big beautiful dogs and 3 ducks. Howard is a 3 year old bull arab who is enormous but very sweet and gentle and Lucky is my old girl, a very arthritic 13 year old american staffy. They won't need walking apart from around the acre of garden and Howard will love you forever if you throw his ball for him. The ducks (Blanche, BamBam and Buttercup) are very low maintenance and might give you some eggs if you are lucky. I might ask you to water a few plants in the garden please as at that time of year it can be quite dry and there is a ride on mower but if you aren't up to it I can get people in to mow the lawns:-). The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a study, wifi, tv , open plan kitchen and lounge which opens onto to big deck overlooking the garden and fish pond. There's also a nice covered outside area in the garden with a firepit and pizza oven. My main priority is that my animals are happy and well looked after please.
