Enjoy a peaceful High Country stay at our rural 13 acre property in Tolmie, Victoria, surrounded by beautiful high-country scenery and fresh air. Our place is a comfortable, welcoming retreat with a few special touches that make it perfect for someone (or couple) who enjoys relaxed country living.

The accommodation includes a main house (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom), plus a separate small unit (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom) on the property, ideal if you’d like a bit of extra space, privacy, or a dedicated area to work/rest.

Outside, you can really enjoy the setting with a beautiful outdoor bath, an outdoor firepit, and even an outdoor cinema for cosy nights under the stars.

We’re looking for a kind, reliable, animal-loving house minder (or couple) to care for our home and help with straightforward feeding routines while we’re away. All feed will be organised and we’ll leave clear instructions.

Animal care routine includes:
Four cats: meals morning and night, clear litter tray

Four dogs: Two kelpies: fed in the morning & Two Oodles fed, morning and afternoon, take for off lead walk on property daily.
(Our dogs are trained therapy dogs and are very well behaved)

Four horses: feed will be made up, just needs to be given morning and night and daily health checks (local friends to help if needed)

Two Aussie mini goats: fed at night

Tolmie is a beautiful, quiet part of Victoria and a great base for enjoying the Victorian High Country, with nearby towns such as Mansfield within easy driving distance.
