About this house sitting position in TOM PRICE

Hi I have recently moved to Tom Price in the Pilbara to take on a principal role in one of teh primary schools. Prior to moving here at the start of Oct 2025, I was in Perth. I have been in education for 34 years and the Pilbara area is one of my favourites parts of WA. In 2021 my life changed course significantly - my long term marriage ended and my 2 dogs passed away within 2 months of each other. I was devastated and I started to do pet sits to shower my love over other people's pets as I wasn't ready to have one of my own again...........yet.
Well days before I found out I was the moving teh the Pilbara, I adopted an 11 year old French Bulldog Ernie. He is the funniest pooch I have met - he loves humans but not keen on other dogs. There are times I need to leave town and some of those times I cannot take Ernie, so I would love to have someone who would love to help me out + experience a magnificent part of teh world. There is a great community here (think population is 3000), many sporting options, a drive in (in the dry season), and lots to see. The town is essentially run by Rio Tinto and as such is well maintained. There is also casual work if that is what you are looking for. Read more...
