About this house sitting position in Toogoom

We’re looking for a reliable house sitter to look after our home and cat while we’re away.

We have a 4-bedroom house in a quiet neighbourhood in Toogoom, just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. It’s a peaceful spot if you enjoy being near the water, walking, fishing, kayaking or just having a relaxed place to stay.

Toogoom is a small coastal community with a couple of local cafés, while Hervey Bay is around 20 minutes away and has plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and beaches to explore.

There’s also lots to do around Hervey Bay, including boat trips, fishing charters, sunset cruises and trips across to K’gari. There are plenty of options for getting out on the water and enjoying the bay.

There’s plenty to explore nearby too, including Burrum Heads, Burrum Coast National Park, local beaches and waterways, with K’gari also easily accessible for a day trip.

Our cat is easy-going and just needs feeding, fresh water, a bit of attention and some company.

We’re looking for someone clean, responsible and respectful of our home, ideally someone who would enjoy a quiet coastal stay with plenty to see and do nearby.
