About this house sitting position in TORQUAY

We are seeking a reliable sitter for our 14 year old spoodle Zola, and our home, while we are away for just over a month.

Zola doesn't need much - 2 short walks, to be fed, taken to front yard for a wee at night ( a habit!) and company. He prefers people to other dogs and loves it when people are with him. He does a lot of sleeping!

The house is on 3 levels and has been renovated to a high standard; we would like someone careful to love it like we do, including the terazzo finishes which are a bit vulnerable.

The main living upper living area/ kitchen have long water views towards Jan Juc, and a really well equipped kitchen ( 2 Neff ovens and induction cooktop). Both living areas have gas log fires - cosy spaces for a cold night.

Although the house could sleep 6 ( 1 x king and 2 x queen beds) we would prefer 4 or less inhabitants for most of the stay. The house is storing items from another house, so storage is somewhat limited. There is a separate study, and multiple bathrooms.

Torquay is great for winter coastal walks and excursions along the Great Ocean Road and Bellarine Penninsular. Heaps to do in cold weather. Zola is also happy in the car.

The house is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, so we need sitters who would respect that peace!

I should say that we are flying on holiday via the Middle East so there is a small possibility of cancellation. We're confident enough of going that we have booked some non cancellable accomodation.
