About this house sitting position in Umina Beach

Close to beach and bushwalks. We’re looking for a caring and responsible house sitter to look after our relaxed home and our two much‑loved pets while we’re away. You’ll be sharing your time with two best friends: Our 7‑year‑old black cat – very low maintenance! She’s independent, happy to be left for hours, and just needs feeding twice a day and the occasional pat when she feels like company. Our 2‑year‑old Boxer/Staffy cross – high‑energy, totally adorable, and incredibly affectionate. She loves people and thrives on attention. She needs one good walk each day. She is strong and her off‑lead behaviour isn’t always perfect, so confidence handling an energetic dog on lead is important. A dog trainer collects her once a week on Wednesdays for training. Mac, the dog, can be left alone for up to 6 hours if needed, though she does enjoy company. Luna, the cat is perfectly fine being left longer.

Home: Simple, comfortable 3‑bedroom house. Wooden floors and polished concrete floors. Very comfortable guest bedroom with hanging space and fresh linen provided. Two lounge areas: one small with air conditioning/heat in one room, and underfloor heating in the kitchen and second lounge area. Lovely back deck for relaxing. 10–15 minute walk to the beach. Close to national parks for trail walking. Above‑ground swimming pool (likely covered while we’re away as it’s usually too cool to swim in May). Gardener attends periodically for lawns and pruning.
