About this house sitting position in Umina Beach

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m looking for someone to look after my 3-year-old English Staffy, Harvey, while I’m away.

My home is perfectly positioned less than a 5-minute drive from the beach, restaurants and cafes, or an easy 10-minute walk. I live in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood. My home has 3 bedrooms (including a guest room and my daughter’s room), a rumpus room set up as an additional room, a pool and a fully fenced backyard. The backyard also has a firepit and firewood, making it a great space to relax and enjoy during your stay.

The guest room will be set up specifically for the pet minder, so you’ll have your own comfortable space while you’re here.

About Harvey:
Harvey is a well-behaved, mild-mannered pup who is house trained and is comfortable staying both inside and outside. He loves cuddles, kisses and his daily walks. He’s still young, though, so he can get overly excited at times, particularly when out walking or when you first arrive home, so someone with experience caring for younger dogs is a must and who is not bothered by an excitable pup.

I work from home, so Harvey is used to having someone around approximately 95% of the time. He’s very affectionate and enjoys having company.

He requires at least a short walk every day, with additional playtime in the backyard always welcome to keep him mentally stimulated. He loves his tennis balls, sticks and his basket of toys, which are always out and available for him.

While I’m Away:
I’m taking my daughter to the US to meet my family, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and would enjoy having Harvey as company while staying in my home.

I also have a number of house plants that may require minimal watering while we’re away.

The house is non-smoking and tidy, and I’m looking for someone who will treat both Harvey and my home with care and respect. Read more...
