About this house sitting position in Upwey

We are looking for someone to love our pets and take care of our home while we are away for a week at the snow.

We live in a beautiful treehouse home in Upwey- half an acre on a slopped lot in a quiet court. Its a 2 level home with sunken lounge, fireplace and deck looking out to abundant big gum trees and tree ferns. It's a large 4 bedroom home.

We have beautiful 7 year old Burmese named Mimi and her side kick Otto, also a Burmese who is 3. They love a pat, a warm place to sleep and need food morning and night. Mimi and Otto take a trip outside early mornings or late ant night but otherwise are inside, so play time with them keeps them happy.

Kookaburras, King Parrots, Cockatoos and rosellas are daily visitors and will happily come onto the back deck to say hello. Sometimes I pop pumpkin or sunflower seeds out for them to nibble on too.

It's a beautiful quiet spot to live.

We are 3 mins drive to Upwey shops with some nice cafes & restaurants and a good- small IGA.

We are 5 minutes drive to larger shops in both Belgrave and Upper Ferntree Gully and the train station at Upwey is an 8 minute walk and will take you direclty into Melbourne city (about a 45 min ride)

Knox Westfield Shopping centre is about a 12 minute drive with a great array of shops and restaurants.

Being in the Dandenong Ranges there are many spectacular walks and hikes, look outs and villages dotted through the mountains. Read more...
