About this house sitting position in Upwey

2 indoor Cats, 1 friendly baby Blue Tongue Lizard & 5 Chickens - House in the hills. Our property is at the bottom of a hill and backs out into protected bushland with 40 hectares of natural reserve with a running creek & lots of walking trails!
We have a steep driveway with a large area to turn around. (Would fit a small caravan if you’re confident in backing it down our winding driveway. Have had trucks and trailers come down just fine.)
Our cats can be shy but will soon be very friendly and love attention. Some of our chickens are also happy to be picked up once you’ve spent some time with them.
No pets allowed as we have lots of wild birds visiting our garden everyday and don’t want to scare them off! Our cats are indoors only for this reason. Our garden is loved by kookaburras, butcher birds, yellow crested cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, rainbow lorikeets, and even the occasional black cockatoo & endangered Gang Gang Cockatoos! If you’re SUPER lucky you might even see a blue tongue lizard or echidna.
We have approximately 15 fruit trees and veggie gardens, which would require some watering and extra attention on hot days. You’re very welcome to help yourself, including daily fresh eggs!
We are looking for somebody trustworthy that we will feel safe knowing our home and pets are cared for, however they also need to be fit enough to check on the chickens twice daily, which involves stairs and a steep hill. We have been taking their food inside at night due to deter pests stealing their food. So need somebody that’s okay with the double trip each day!
