About this house sitting position in Uralla
Our rural home is a 1 bedroom historic stone cottage with a modern 2 bedroom extension with a new kitchen, efficient wood fire and passive solar design. We are two kilometres from a vibrant little town and 23 kilometres from Armidale. We have water views of an upland lagoon, and enjoy a beautiful, peaceful position with lots of bird and wildlife.
We have 1 cat, a friendly 9 y.o. Labrador, 2 budgies, three ducks and 12 hens ( in a fox-proof enclosure), five goats ( virtually no care required) and 2 donkeys (they love attention, but are also happy entertaining themselves). The cats, dog, budgies, chickens and donkeys need feeding. The dog enjoys a walk or two per day and loves pats and play. The rescue donkeys need to have their hooves cleaned and have a couple of supplements to keep them.
