About this house sitting position in Urliup

Hi everyone, we are looking for someone to look after our home, & our sons dog who lives with us, she is a sweet 6yr old Tibetan spaniel named Millie. She is scared of loud storms so we need someone who is caring and a dog lover, she loves cuddles.
We have a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom brick home, on a very quiet 5.3 acre property, we have koalas and wallabies on occasions on the property, and lots of birds, kookaburras etc
We live in Urliup, it is situated only 5 mins from Murwillumbah in Northern NSW. Murwillumbah is only 30 mins drive South from Gold Coast airport and only 40 mins drive North from Byron Bay.
We are on tank water.
We have a dam that we use to water our gardens.
We would prefer a single or a couple who either work from home, or can be home part of the day or a retired person.Millie doesn’t like to be left home alone for too long, non smoking please, and sorry but no pets.
Preferably someone we could meet before hand in person if possible.
Only jobs to do are feeding & caring for Millie, maintaining a clean home, checking the mailbox, putting the bins out weekly & watering my gardens every couple of days if no rain and mowing the lawn if needed. Oh and enjoying the peace & quiet of our property with a beautiful view of Mt Warning from parts of our home/property.
We do have space for a caravan but there is currently no accessible power as it’s down the bottom of our property near our dam. Not near the house. We are currently building a shed but we don’t have accessible power yet. Read more...
