About this house sitting position in Wamboin

Hello,
We are looking for a house sitter/sitters to look after our house and family of animals while we are overseas next year, who will be able to spend most of their time at home. Our house is on 13 acres in a quiet semi rural area just outside Canberra. Along with general upkeep of the house, there will be some watering of pot plants/garden, but not a huge amount as it will be winter.

We are 15 minutes out of Queanbeyan and 20 minutes out of Canberra, so you will need your own transport.

Our home is a 3 bedroom single storey house, and heated by a modern wood fire, so ideally someone who might be familiar with using this type of heating. We do have also reverse cycle heating in our main living living area (but we don't tend to use this much).

We have two belgian shepherd dogs, and two cats who will need looking after. The dogs are fairly easy care but can sometimes have their moments if there is a thunderstorm (which would be rare during the time we are away). They do require medication but it's very easy to give it to them. They love a daily run or two on certain areas of the property with their toys, otherwise happy to just sleep. One of us has been working from home so they are very used to the routine of this. The cats pretty much look after themselves and mostly inside so litter cleaning will be necessary.

One of our spare bedrooms is set up as a gym which has a treadmill, rowing machine and a weights machine.
