About this house sitting position in WANNANUP

Honest, reliable, fit and mature single person or couple who are non smokers, non vapers, very clean, tidy, respectful and trustworthy to house sit and care for our property, house, pet dog and plants ect while we are away on holidays.

We are seeking Person/s who have no children or existing pets, but who love pets and are pet care experienced. Preferrably person/s who reside locally in Perth or within Western Australia but that is not essential. Main reason being that it is very important and a must that we meet in person and speak with the applying person/s in advance, to find the most suitable persons/s for our house sitting dates. So please note that we will still consider person/s from interstate depending on the individuals circumstances etc at the time.

Our dog is one spoilt, mischievous, affectionate, very people friendly 9 year old turning 10 miniture English bull terrier dog, who requires mostly daily walks but does not like other dogs. Sadly she has only one eye and has limited vision in her remaining eye, but manages and navigates everything extremely well considering. She also requires daily administration of medication every morning, but she has no issues taking it.

Our dog is used to someone being at home most of the time, so our house sit position would be much more suitable to person/s who are retired or who only works very minimal part time hours.

Our house is situated in Wannanup (Mandurah vicinity) on a hill overlooking popular Avalon surfing beach. It is great for swimming, surfing, walking, fishing and is approx 100 metres from the beach with panoramic views. Our surrounding neighbours are all our friends and acquaintances, so we have excellent neighbourhood watch around our house and property at all times!

Our house is elevated, so there are stairs to climb on a very regular daily basis, so our housesit would be best suited to an able fit person/s. However it is an easy house to care for and there are some indoor house plants that would require some care as well.
Our outside garden is an easy care garden, but may need an occasional hand water which would depend on the weather during the house sitting time frame.
We also have a reasonable sized patch of back lawn that will most likely require mowing just a couple of times during the house sit time frame as well.

We would expect the person/s to look after our property and keep the house to the same very clean and tidy standard that our house was in upon their house sit arrival date. And further, respect, treat and care for our dog as if she was their own.

Current up to date Police clearances along with very good contactable existing and recent references are essential for our house sit!
Also the applicant/s must be very 'Conversant' with the Mindahome's Code of Conduct for House Sitter's and be willing to strictly abide by it's Code of Conduct during the house sitting time frame at our property. Also further, the chosen house sitter/s must be prepared and willing to sign a Mindahome House Sitting Agreement in relation to the house sitting of our property, home, pet etc.

And not be a person/s when found to be suitable and an agreement is made between both parties, to then in the lead up time to our sit position, continue to look for a longer and maybe more suitable sit that includes our agreed sit dates.
