About this house sitting position in Wantirna

We are heading off on holidays over Christmas and are looking for someone to stay in our home and look after our two Golden Retrievers, Skips and Scout.

Skips is 2 and a half years old and she has a very lovely nature. She enjoys laying outside in the sun on a warm day and curling up on the couch in the evenings. She is a very low maintenance dog but always gets excited to go to the dog park.

Scout is our 5 month old boy (will be 7 months by the time of the stay), and is very much so still a puppy so we are looking for someone who is comfortable looking after a young pup. He is still learning the ways of the world but loves to be around people and other dogs. He is crate trained but will still wedge himself onto you for a cuddle throughout the day and night.

Obviously with Scout being a puppy he will still have those random outbursts of energy and can take it out on Skips from time to time (which somehow she almost always tolerates), so sometimes he just needs to be separated from her for a few minutes or just calmed down with pats or attention through commands like sit, drop, paw etc.

They are used to having someone at home as one of us works from home but they are more than fine to be left alone for a few hours.
Both dogs would love to go to the dog park everyday for a run around and play, but we also have a small reserve across the road and 3 ovals down the street. It's no stress if they're not able to be walked every single day as they would be more than fine with a good play in our large backyard.

We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom + office stand alone home in a quiet court. You will sleep in our spare bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe as well as your own bathroom that also has a spa bath.

We have a nice big TV with Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime and YouTube premium (no ads!)
The lounge room and bedroom both have split system air conditioning.

We have a very large backyard but it won't require any maintenance, you are more than welcome to park in the driveway as it is quite long otherwise you can park in the street.

There is also security cameras installed for peace of mind which we are able to give you access to or completely turn off if you would prefer. Read more...
