About this house sitting position in Warners Bay

Peaceful Lakeside Stay with Ronnie & Trinnie – Warners Bay

We're looking for a reliable, caring house sitter (individual) to look after our home and two cats while we're overseas.

Our Home

Our home is located in a quiet no-through street in Warners Bay, just a short walk from The Esplanade, lakeside cafés, restaurants and scenic walking and cycling paths. Newcastle's beautiful beaches are also an easy drive away.

You'll have your own comfortable guest bedroom, with access to the kitchen, bathroom, living areas and laundry. The house has air conditioning, Wi-Fi and off-street parking. Our main bedroom will remain accessible to the cats.

Meet Ronnie & Trinnie

Ronnie (male) is our independent indoor/outdoor cat. He's shy around new people but affectionate when he's comfortable at home. He comes and goes through a microchip-operated cat flap, wears a GPS tracking collar and returns home every morning.

Trinnie (female) is our indoor-only girl. She's quite timid initially, but once she builds trust, she loves being close to her favourite person and getting plenty of affection.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves cats, understands their different personalities and is patient with shy animals.

Daily responsibilities include feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, companionship and checking that Ronnie returns home each morning.

You'll have plenty of flexibility to explore the area during the day. We simply ask that you stay overnight and send us regular updates.

Previous cat-sitting experience and good references are preferred. We'd also like to arrange a meet-and-greet before confirming the sit.

We'd love to hear from you! Read more...
