About this house sitting position in Warrandyte

We have a large 4 bedroom home with beautiful views of the bush and Kangaroo Grounds to the north. We have a small above ground pool and large garden and are within walking distance of the Yarra River and it's leash free walking track.
We have 2 gorgeous dogs. Vixen, a 14 y.o.golden retriever.( she's a reclassified guide dog) and Jasper, a 7y.o. rescue white German Shepherd ( a sweet boy who came from a history of family violence.)
So we are hoping to find someone to mind our two dogs so we can travel overseas in August and September, 2024 for 6 weeks. If it starts to get hot, then the garden will need watering as well, but usually it doesn't need it at that time of year. We do have a few pot plants on the deck that will need watering once a week, it it hasn't rained.
We try not to leave the dogs alone for more than 3 hours during the day, though they are fine to be left at night after being fed around 6.00pm.
We are also wondering if people are willing to house/ dog sit just for long weekends.
